Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) calling up district hospital and inquiring about Laksh (Namish Taneja). They say that there is no patient with that name in our hospital. The tattooed girl says I am not lying. At Maheshwari mansion, Gayatri fumes that the wedding planner girls have done a shoddy job. She says I made a mistake employing them. Swara (Helly Shah) says Ragini you go to the hospital with Nikhil (Pratap Hada) to find out about Laksh. Inside, Gayatri screams enough is enough.

Swara starts dancing on Deewani Mastani much to the dismay of Maheshwari family members. Swara dances with tears and people offer her money. Sanskar feels terrible and shuts his eyes. Everyone clap for Swara’s performance. Gayatri gets up and puts a garland of notes on Swara’s neck. She says you are a better dancer than decorator, you should be dancing at functions only. Swara goes inside a room and cries. Durgaprasad and Annapurna enter in to console her. Annapurna says what was the need for all this, why did you get yourself humiliated like this. Durgaprasad says your actions have hurt us. They ask why did you not stop that dancer. She reveals that girl knew about Laksh so I had to let her go. She says I sent Ragini and Nikhil with the girl.

Ragini rushes inside the hospital and asks about Laksh. They show his snap and enquire. The nurse calls senior doctor. He says I did not know anything about him when he came in. We referred to him by his bed number. She calls up Swara and says we found out about him. Ragini says I want to meet him, I am desperate. The doctor says I cannot allow that as he has died three days back. He says no one enquired about him in six months so we cremated him yesterday. She sinks down on the floor.

Nikhil tells the doctor that how could they do it. The doctor says what we did was legally right. He says we did everything right from giving ads in local papers to everything. Ragini leaves the hospital in tears. She gets flashback of all memories. Nikhil tries to console her. He gets a call from Swara and is about to tell her everything. But Ragini remembers Swara’s promise and says that Laksh is not here. She says he has escaped from here. Ragini says I hope you did not mention about Laksh to his parents. Swara says I did. Ragini says tell them that Ragini is only mildly disappointed and has full faith that he will be back soon.

Swara says you wanted to hide truths from me so you cut the phone. She looks behind to see Sanskar. He asks you look so unhappy what happened Swara. Sanskar says you must be thinking about Nikhil. Swara yes, what is your problem. He says do not get upset, just wait for a few days then you can spend all your time with Nikhil. Angry, Swara says do not interfere in my personal life, I am only a wedding planner here. Nikhil says Ragini why did you lie to Swara. Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life….

We informed you yesterday that Namish Taneja will be soon seen in a new look. The actor was missing from action since some time on Swaragini. The actor enjoyed his Diwali break to the fullest and is set to resume shoot at the soonest. This time his character is totally different from what we have seen so far. The actor will play his look alike on the show, which is trying its best to revive its ratings on the TRP charts. The new SwaSan track has found acceptance from viewers and people want to rev up the love story of Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) and Lakshya (Namish Taneja) as well.

Namish’s new character is called Abhimanyu. He looks a lot older and is more matured. The actor has begun shooting for his re-entry and is hoping to come back with a bang. A source said, “He will re-enter in the show as Lakshya’s lookalike Abhimanyu. The actor will be shown as the father of 6 year old girl, who is married to another girl.” The actor is sporting spectacles, trimmed beard and a new hairstyle. Namish had no apprehensions about playing dad to a six-year-old child. He said, “No! As an actor we need to experiment and portray roles with different shades, variation and graphs.” We guess a memory loss track is coming on the way. It would be surprising if it something different. Or maybe he has a plan in mind.

Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) telling Nikhil (Pratap Hada) that she does not want her sister’s relationship to break due to this news. She says my mother is still hopeful about their reconciliation. This fact will destroy everything.

A girl says papa and comes towards a man. She says daddy you’re always working, you never have time to play with me. He gives her a hug. A man looking like Laksh (Namish Taneja) is shown. Sujata (Sonica Handa) packs Rs 50 lakhs in a bag and gives it to Gayatri who says your daughter’s future is secure now. Swara (Helly Shah) sees this and is shocked. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) comes from behind and grabs her taking her to a room. She says they are giving dowry which is not right. I will stop them. Sanskar says I have lost my right to speak about this dowry matter as my marriage has failed. Mother does not listen to me. He says I am worried mother will harm herself if this alliance breaks. He looks very pained. Swara says this is a matter of your sister’s life and we cannot let our ego rule.

Swara says money does not buy happiness. Sanskar says when unlimited love does not bring happiness. Our relationship has only given us hatred, pain and agony. He says if we were together I would have halted this marriage. There is no chance now. He says you are here only as a wedding planner and should know your limits. Moreover, he says, you have a future to look forward to (with Nikhil). Swara says just because your one relationship failed, you will escape fulfilling other responsibilities. She says your silence is a mistake. He grabs her arm and she lands on his lap. They share an eye-lock.

Sujata, Gayatri and Ram Prasad come to the room and are shocked to see them. Gayatri’s husband asks what is happening. She tells Swara that you are shameless to behave like this in a private function. She says I doubted this girl’s character from day one and told Ragini to keep her away. She says how hungry are you for money that you have to do such work for your living. She says what did you feel that the boy is rich and young, you will trap him. She says you are degrading my image before the community. She says you dance before men and now you are crying like a crocodile. She says you are low class. Sanskar says stop it Gayatriji and please know that she is my wife. He says nothing of that sort happened here.

Nikhil and Ragini come back to the Maheshwari mansion. He says I cannot enter inside with you as my emotions will give away. Ragini says you have to keep this as secret. Inside, the rituals of Uttara and Chirag are happening. Durgaprasad asks Annapurna did Swara say something. She says no and I am thinking of asking Ragini myself. She asks Ragini about Laksh. She gets teary-eyed and says nothing was found about him as he left the hospital. DP wonders where did he go.

Gayatri comes down and says stop this engagement as this relationship will not materialise. Everyone is shocked. Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life….

The upcoming track of Swaragini will focus on the love-hate track of Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor). It seems Swara will return back to Maheshwari Mansion. They will live in the same room but they’ll not share any relationship. Sanskaar will be damn impressed by how the girls managed to end Uttara’s (Khyati Mangla) marriage. He will be upset about the marriage getting terminated but we feel happy that she is not falling in their greedy hands. The two will continue their efforts to locate Lakshya (Namish Taneja). We will also see Sanskar fighting with some goons in upcoming episodes.

Moreover, Ragini will arrange a surprise romantic date for Swara and him. She will not inform them of Laksh’s death and pretend to move on in life. However, Sanskar will be upset on seeing the romantic arrangements and yell at Ragini for trying to mend their relationship. He will be super angry with her. Swara will be upset seeing how Sanskar is screaming at her.

Ragini also makes a decision to refrain from talking about her husband’s death before Swara and Sanskar. Nikhil (Pratap Hada) and she keep it a secret. However, Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) and Parineeta (Sharmishta Borthakur) overhear their convo and tell her to inform his parents at least. Swaragini begins with Swara (Helly Shah) getting shocked about Ragini’s decision to move on without Laksh (Namish Taneja). Ragini says I am right in my decision. Swara says you’re lying and whatever you did in life was for him. No one loves him like you do. She says I don’t believe you and you are doing this only to reunite Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) and me. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash) says that if Laksh had to come back, he would have but he is not responding. She says perhaps Laksh is punishing her for her acts. Sumi gets shocked. Annapurna and Durga Prasad too get very emotional. Ragini says her decision is final and goes to her room. Swara sees Annapurna and Durga Prasad standing at the doorstep.

Gayatri has to leave the bungalow and move back to old house. Chirag (Manoj Chandila) says why did she get too greedy and demand Rs 5 crore. He says you were wrong is your judgement about Uttara (Khyati Mangla). His father says people will know we are in debt. Chirag says he will woo Uttara and marry her. This will break Sanskar’s ego and everyone will get them married. Annapurna tells Durga Prasad that she is worried for Ragini. Durga Prasad says that they shall bless Ragini for her new life. Seeing this, Sanskar wants to go to the Baadi.

Swara tells Ragini that she does not believe her. Ragini says I have made up my mind as you have done about Sanskar and you. She leaves. Sanskar comes to Baadi and tells Swara that he wants to talk to Ragini. Swara says she is in no mood to talk. Sanskar blames her. Swara accuses him while Sanskar says you left me, which left Ragini with no choice but to take this decision. Sumi says she has taken this decision for Swara and you. Sanskar says I know Maa. He says Swara’s one decision broke our relationship.

Sanskar goes out to take Inspector’s call who says he has some information about Laksh. Sanskar says he will meet him and requests him not to talk at home. The Inspector says they spotted him on social media. Sanskar requests the Inspector to give him permission to hunt for Laksh. Sanskar calls Ragini, and tells everything. Swara picks up the call and says they will find Laksh together. Sanskar says he will go alone and tells her not to come.

Swara spots Ragini who asks what was she doing with the phone, She says Sanskar called to talk about the function bills. Swara calls Inspector requesting him to send the snap he got on social media. The two reach the spot where Laksh is seen. Sanskar asks around for him showing his snap. Swara bumps into him. Laksh lookalike or Laksh is there with the small girl. Sanskar and Swara share an eye lock.

Swaragini begins with Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) arguing over who will find Laksh (Namish Taneja). She says she has full rights to hunt for him. He says she must have informed everyone but she denies that. Nikhil (Pratap Hada) says Ragini has to do something to prove that Laksh’s place in her life is taken by someone else. In the mean time, Chirag (Manoj Chandila) has started his operation of wooing Uttara (Khyati Mangla). He offers her a lift when her car breaks down but she refuses. He says he is not like his parents. She relents. Later, he tips her driver for his good job. Ragini says she needs Nikhil’s help in reuniting Swara and Sanskar. He says he cannot pose to be her future husband. She tells him to pretend for some time.

Sanskar is hunting for Laksh when he comes there with the girl. She shows her shoelaces to him and he bends down to tie them up. Later, he makes her sit at a shop and goes to buy medicines. The girl runs behind balloons and loses track of the shop where he left her. She starts crying and looking around for him. She meets Swara who offers her help to find her dad.

Nikhil says that Swara will not believe their relation. Ragini requests him and he holds her hand. Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) comes there and grabs Nikhil’s collar. Sumi is also present. She says she will talk to Ragini. She hugs Sumi and says that Laksh is no more in this world but she cannot spoil Swara and Sanskar’s relation at any cost. Swara and the girl come to Sanskar who says he will drop her to her papa.

Swara drops the girl back to the shop where her dad left her. Sumi asks Ragini how did she hide such a big truth from them. Ragini says she cannot spoil her sister’s relationship and shares her plan with Shekhar and her. Sanskar gets into a fight with some goons and Swara rushes to help him. The girl’s father comes and she wants to show him the helpful aunty. Laksh sees them and is totally shocked.

Swaragini grabbed many eyeballs with its twists and turns on Colors. In a span of little less than two years, it enjoyed a great run at the TRP charts. However, the last few months were somewhat drab. The makers introduced some new tracks but none of them failed to rev up the ratings. The present track is however better and has reasonably revived its fan base. However, these efforts have not reportedly worked the magic. 

Hence, according to a leading portal the show is all set to go off-air some-time in December to make path for the new show Swabhimaan. SAY WHAT? It is also said that the show has explored all storylines possible and there is not much potential to take the story forward. Actress Helly Shah who plays the much loved Swara on the show when contacted stated, “Honestly, we haven’t heard any such thing till now. But this is a trend where if a show witnesses a little drop in ratings, such a rumor starts surfacing. However, we haven’t been informed about any such thing”.

Bollywood Life got in touch with Varun Kapoor who said, “We don’t have any such news.” Recently, the show also attracted many eyeballs for the re-entry of Namish Taneja.

However, we know the show still has a strong fandom on social media especially for Helly and Varun’s pair SwaSan. But the dipping TRPs is an area of concern. Also, the show is failing to come up with new twist and turns, which used to be the mainstay of the show. Some of the new tracks were not related to the lead pairs and that led to dissatisfaction amongst fans. Also a source close to the show shares this news has not been confirmed by the producers but the actors on the set of the show are discussing about this alleged rumor to be true or not? The source said, “The show had a fab run for two years. It is a lot in current scenario and actors are gearing up mentally. However, nothing is official so far.”

Sujata (Sonica Handa) agrees and tries to convince Ram about the same. She says he is like a diamond. Ram calls her foolish. Swara says I am sorry that I had to record your conversation but I know that you cannot live without Laksh (Namish Taneja). She plays the conversation and hears that Laksh is dead. Ragini is devastated.

Swara asks Ragini if it is true that he is dead. She says yes. Durgaprasad also agrees. Swara hugs her and says how did you manage to keep such great sorrow in your heart for so long. Durgaprasad says she did that to unite Sanskar and you. If you knew he was dead you would not revive your relationship. Sanskar hugs Durgaprasad and cries. He says nothing is left. My brother is dead. I am responsible for this mess. Swara says I refuse to believe this. Ragini says it is true. She begs to be left alone. Swara hugs Sharmishtha (Parineeta Borthakur) who says Ragini needs time alone.

Ragini wanders off alone on the road. She gets hit by a car. The lady brings her home and calls a doctor. Abhimanyu (Namish Taneja) walks in and hugs Mansi. Ragini wakes up and says she wants to ho home. Outside she collides with Abhimanyu who says be careful. She hears his voice and wonders who is it… They share an eyelock. Karam khudaya hai plays… Ragini runs into Abhimanyu’s arms. She weeps and says Laksh where did you go missing. Ragini hugs him tightly…

While news is doing the rounds that Swaragini on Colors might be soon taken off air, the cast is going about their work as usual. The current track focuses on Abhimanyu (Namish Taneja) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar). We will see Ragini bringing him to the Maheshwari mansion but he will say that he is not Laksh but Abhimanyu Khanna. Everyone is shocked. Helly Shah aka Swara will enter Abhimanyu’s home as a domestic help to find out the truth. This is not unusual on the show. Forget the track, but the cute actress has found an even cuter companion on the show. Yes, she is bonding big time with Tasheen Shah. The child actor is best known as Imli from the show, Udaan. Helly and Tasheen are having a blast on the sets. She is playing the daughter of Abhimanyu on the show and we will soon see her in Maheshwari mansion. Buzz is that Ragini will bring her there so that Abhimanyu also follows her to the house. This will be done to get him acquainted with Durgaprasad and co…There he will deny that he is Laksh, which will leave everyone stunned. From making funny expressions to shooting videos together. We chanced upon this rather cute video where Tasheen is asking Swara to give her a piggyback ride. Helly tries her best but is unable to get up with the chubby girl on her back. Later, we will see Swara and Sanskar get inside the house dressed as a Rajasthani couple. He will be a Rasoiya (cook) while she will be a maid. Viewers can see some flirtatious and comedy scenes between the intense couple. After a rather funny funky look as a Bihari rockstar, Varun Kapoor will don traditional clothes. A dhoti, colourful waistcoat and turban. However, Abhimanyu will start doubting that Swara has come as a maid and be extra careful. Swaragini begins with Ragini hugging Abhimanyu tightly. Mansi says how dare you hug my husband. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) says he is my husband Laksh. She says I was hunting for you from six months and we were devastated. Mansi calls her a cheat and says she is doing drama for money. Ragini says I am not after money. Mansi says he is my husband and the father of my daughter Nishka.

Ragini tries to take Abhimanyu with her but Mansi halts her. Swara (Helly Shah) remembers Ragini promising her union with Sanskar and weeps. Her mother says Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) has gone to find her. Abhimanyu tells Ragini that he is not her husband and to leave him. Shumi (Parineeta Borthakur) tells Swara that Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) needs you more than Ragini. She says he hates me. There is no love in his eyes for me. He thinks he is responsible for Laksh’s death. Swara says I know he is not guilty.

Ragini falls at Abhimanyu’s feet and begs him to come home. Mansi gives her money and tells her to leave. Shumi tells Swara to go to Sanskar. Angry,
Ragini holds Nishka hostage and says return my husband to me. She says your daughter is with me, come to me or else I will harm her. Abhimanyu begs for his child but I want you back, says Ragini.

Swara meets Sanskar, who is sitting at a roadside bench.He says I am wrong. He blames his anger for Laksh’s death. He tells her to go away saying that he is afraid to hurt her. Swara holds his hand but he takes it away. He says I am sorry our relationship is no more. Sanskar says I want to die. He says I have no will to live. Swara says you have your family to manage and you have to be brave. He says I know that but I am responsible for this mess. He begs to be left alone. She refuses. He yells and he stops her. They see a car pass by with Ragini in it. A child is crying. They are stunned to see Laksh following them.

Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) bringing Mishka to Maheshwari mansion and saying that he is her husband and not her dad. She refutes. Abhimanyu (Namish Taneja) enters inside calling out to Ragini. Everyone is happy to see him and says Laksh we thought you were dead. He says my daughter has been brought her by force. I am not Laksh. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) says how can you have a kid. Mishka runs to him and hugs him. She identifies Swara (Helly Shah) having met her before. Abhimanyu tells her that he is her papa. Durgaprasad says he is his son and Ragini’s husband. Sanskar says maybe you have forgotten everything due to head injury. Laksh says he is Abhimanyu. He blames Ragini for pretending to be rich and trapping him. She cries. Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) says he is her son and that he met with an accident six months back. He says I am living with my family since years. He shows his ID card.

Swara asks him to leave saying that Laksh cannot talk to his family like that. Ragini is stunned and asks him to wait. Swara says let him go. Sujata tries to stop him. Later, Swara tells him to go. Sanskar asks Swara how is she to let him go. Swara says we cannot keep him by force. Swara asks Abhimanyu to go. Ragini says that I believe he is my Laksh. Even Sanskar says he is our Laksh.

Swara says she knows he is Laksh. Sujata and Ram say they would convince him. Swara says Laksh is doing this deliberately. She says she noticed that he was not making eye contact with anyone. She says when I saw him going, he had clutched his fist as if he is doing this helplessly. Ragini is shocked and says the girl is calling him Papa.

Annapurna says perhaps Laksh is in some trouble. Ragini says how can we get him back. Swara says he is alive and is in same city. She says your sister is with you, and promises to bring him back to her life and the Maheshwari mansion. Sanskar says Swara is not alone…I am with her. We both will bring him back. Ragini gets emotional and says please do not break my hope.

Fans are still upset that Sony TV pulled off Ek Duje Ke Vaaste abruptly at a time when they felt the story of Shravan (Namik Paul) and Suman (Nikita Dutta) has so much more to offer. Now, it is the turn of Swaragini fans to flood Twitter with the #Don’tEndSwaragini. While the channel or producer is yet to confirm whether the show is indeed going off air or not, promos of the new show Ek Shringaar – Swabhimaan are already on air. It will replace Swaragini at the 9.30pm slot on Colors. The TRPs of the popular drama have been on the decline since three months now and attempts to pick up momentum have gone in vain. The current track is getting eyeballs but it is too late an effort. We know that low TRPs are not treated gently by GECs in recent times no matter how popular a show might be. And that too on a slot as competitive as 9.30pm. At the same time, we must admit we are not totally surprised. Some of the tracks since past few months have failed to hold our interest and seemed quite repetitive. Moreover, instead of focusing on the lives of the two main pairs, there is unnecessary focus on supporting actors. Plus, new actors came in for cameos but failed to leave an impact. The channel has not been airing new promos of the show as well. So, what went wrong? Here is what we feel…

#Lopsided tracks
If fans of Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) and Laksh (Namish Taneja) complain, they have a point. There has been zero initiative to show them doing something good on the show. It is only now that Ragini is showing concern. As much as the world adores SwaSan, RagLak could have also got some focus. Instead, we saw Adarsh’s plotting and Uttara’s failed marriage.

#Too repetitive
We had Swara going in dressed like a Bengali maid to Rajat’s house during Uttara wedding and now she is a Rajasthani maidservant. The memory loss track was also damn drab. Worse, the show did not have the emotionally charged up moments that made it a hit in the first place.

#Swara the spy and dumb Sanskar
The fact that Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) got Laksh arrested in order to show him the right path was the stupidest thing on the show. Who strikes deals with the cops when you are down and out financially? We would have accepted it if Swara (Helly Shah) had done that but frankly that was not Sanskar’s style at all. Since 2016, the characters have lost their original personalities, which is annoying to the core. Also, people have changed sides like clothes, so who is right?

#No comic relief
Episodes have gone without a bit of nok jhok and humour on the show. A little bit of funny bitchiness would have certainly brought some relief. It looked like Sujata has sleeping all through?

So, do you feel that Swaragini deserves an extension? The show’s TRPs last week were around 1.7, which is higher than many other shows on TV. Will a change in timings bring better results? Do let us know with the poll and your comments….

Swaragini’s upcoming episodes will see a huge drama where Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) will stage a suicide in media glare. The lady was waiting for her husband for six months and his rejection post that has left Ragini devastated. In a last ditch effort to get her man, Laksh (Namish Taneja) back, she will try to attempt suicide. Everyone will try to stop her but she will be back to her crazy avatar. Ragini will slash her wrists and be taken to the hospital.

Abhimanyu/Laksh (Namish Taneja) will follow her to the hospital and get very emotional seeing her state. All this while, Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) were trying their best to bring forth the reality that Laksh is indeed Abhimanyu but totally failed in that. He will go to the hospital, see Ragini and have an emotional breakdown. There he will confess that he is Laksh.

Swara will follow him and try to get them together. In the meantime, Pari (Tasheen Shah) will be scared that Abhimanyu will leave her. She will go into depression. Swara has to manage both Pari and Ragini. Prior to this, they will be surprised to see the lack of emotion on Abhimanyu’s face at Ragini’s death attempt. We guess the show will end with the both the girls finally finding peace with their husbands. The announcement of Ek Swabhimaan – Ek Shringaar has already been made with the promos being out. Unlike the weddings of Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya or Dheeraj Dhoopar and Vinny Arora, Tere Bin actor Gaurav Khanna’s nuptials with Aakanksha Chamola was a somewhat low-key affair. However, it had its share of fun. The marriage was a lavish affair in Kanpur, which happens to be his home town. The two had been dating for two years now. Actors like Puja Banerjee, Kunal Verma, Hussein Kuwajerwala and Anuj Sachdeva made it for the wedding. In fact, Puja and Kunal are Gaurav’s besties. The lovely couple met at the auditions where assuming that he was a newcomer, Aakanksha gave him tips. Later, she was embarrassed when she discovered he was quite a pro. She might be a bad bahu in Swaragini but actress Akanksha Chamola who plays Parineeta wowed the heart of her mom-in-law in one seating. The lady got married to actor Gaurav Khanna of Tere Bin in a lavish ceremony in Kanpur yesterday. The marriage was a three day affair with mehendi, haldi and reception. Here is all that you need to know about the marriage…

Kanpur calling
The marriage took place in Kanpur that happens to be Gaurav’s hometown. He is from Kanpur’s posh Civil Lines area. It was a three day affair. The couple have taken a short break for their marriage. Gaurav is seen on &TV’s Tere Bin with Shefali Sharma while Akanksha is in Swaragini. The guests seem to be enjoying the chill of Kanpur to the fullest. It was a big fat Indian wedding.

Mehendi party
While people from the cast of Swaragini could not make it to Kanpur, Akanksha made sure she threw a mehendi party for them. It was attended by Helly Shah, Varun Kapoor and wife Dhanya, Sonica Handa, Amar Sharma amongst others. The actress is quite close to her co-stars and it was a fun party.

The wedding was attended by a few actors from Mumbai. Anuj Sachdeva has shared quite a few videos of the nuptials. Actors Hussein Kuwajerwala, Tina, Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee were also there. The groom went with Kunal and Puja to get his bride. Anuj was seen applying haldi on Gaurav. We love what Tina and Puja are wearing. There was no cash crunch as he was wearing a garland of notes.

Love story
The two met at an audition where thinking he was a newcomer, she started doling out tips. Later, she found that he had a few shows under his kitty. However, they struck a friendship and the rest is history. They had a quirky wedding card, which was different from the ones we saw this year. Bollywood Life wishes them the best…

All good things come to an end. However, there is bound to be some disappointment when the end is abrupt. This is what has happened with Swaragini. After a good run for a year and a half, the show met with a downward slide that was not arrested in time. It was too late till the time the new plot gained acceptance. The maximum disappointment is of course for fans of the couples, SwaSan and RagLak who have earned maximum love from the show. People loved Helly Shah and Varun Kapoor on the show and it was not surprising that they made it the list of the year’s best performances on every award show. Helly, along with Karishma Tanna has been roped in for Comedy Nights Bachao Tazaa while we guess Varun will take a break. The final episode will be aired on December 16 when the couples reunite happily. A few fans met up with the duo and have shared their happiness on social media. Varun, who is known to be shy also posted a video message saying how thankful they were to get so much love from fans. The respect give to the characters was very touching. Buzz is that Swara and Sanskar will try to make Abhimanyu (Namish Taneja) escape from the clutches of Pari by securing Mishka’s future. We are sure that fans of Helly Shah are really looking forward to the ITA Awards 2016 with great anticipation. While the chirpy lass was unlucky when it came to the trophies, she more than made up for it with a dreamy performance with co-star Varun Kapoor. We know that Swaragini wraps up on December 16 and this is the last treat for fans of SwaSan. The two set the screen on fire when they danced on Gerua on the show. The episode got fabulous TRPs and will be remembered by their fans for a long time. However, Helly has something else in store too. The lovely girl also crooned a very lines of Tere Bin on the red carpet. She revealed that though she likes to sing, she is not very sure about her abilities. Helly revealed that people used to rag her to sing a lot in the initial days of Swaragini as she plays a singer. We wonder how she felt singing before popular anchor Meiyang Chang who is known for his singing prowess. We also noticed how cute the two looked together. Would you like to see Helly and Chang together on a show? We are sure fans are dying to see Helly and Varun together on a new show ASAP. However, that might take time to materialise. Finally, we got to see Varun Kapoor and Helly Shah’s performance at the ITA Awards 2016. They presented a shade of love which was dreamy and romantic while Kumkum Bhagya pair Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha showcased a more passionate and sensuous side. Both these couples enjoy a huge following and their fans were damn eager. So, how did they fare? Here is a quick lowdown…

Grand entry
Both the performances were off to a spectacular start. The stage was set very nicely for the actors to unleash their dance prowess. We liked SwaSan’s opening a lot more with the dreamy sunset background. Shabbir and Sriti’s dance had a theme of white and red. Moves
Helly Shah looked really confident on the dias. It is evident that she has learnt a lot from her stint on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. However, it was Varun Kapoor who surprised us. They had a easy form of waltz and they did total justice. He also managed to lift Helly without much discomfort. There looked damn graceful even in the floor moves. On the contrary, Sriti and Shabbir’s dance had a lot of lifts. We liked their eyelock a little better. It was a more complicated dance form but mostly of lifts.

Dream debut
We have seen Shabbir dance on various occasions but this was a first for Helly and Varun. No wonder the two worked hard to put their best foot forward. It was also a perfect way to say thank you to their adoring fans. Varun, seemed to have the learnt the entire song by rote coz he was lip syncing perfectly. Now, that is some dedication. Shabbir did not lip sync much, we guess we was busy lifting up Sriti all the time.

Ever since the news of Swaragini going off air broke out loyal fans stormed the Internet to save their show, which began on Colors last year. Once, the top-rated show of the channel, it was a drama with romance and never-ending twists and turns that kept the viewers glued. Quite a few things worked for the show, mainly the amazing chemistry between lead pairs Helly Shah-Varun Kapoor and Tejaswi Prakash-Namish Taneja, engaging narrative and a terrific ensemble of actors and supporting cast. However, writers started running out of ideas at the start of the year and the slide downhill was not arrested in time.

Quite a few successive tracks were unsuccessful and people lost interest. It was annoying for fans to see focus being shifted to other characters. Another major grouse was the alleged neglect of Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash) and Lakshya (Namish Taneja). The TRPs came down below 2 and it was a sign of worry. Nothing could rev up the numbers of the show and we guess it was not acceptable to the channel. However, the TRPs weren’t hopelessly bad either. They were in the range of 1.6 to 1.8 for last six months or so. The latest track picked up momentum but it was too late.

However, fans strongly feel that the show is still one of the most entertaining ones on TV. Close to 90 per cent of them want it on air. This is close to the fan mania for Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. While the makers have made up their mind, fans are in no mood to let their show go off air.

It was the celebration of love that took centrestage at the Indian Television Academy Awards on Sunday. Two of TV’s most-loved pairs put up performances that celebrated dreamy romance and passion in equal measure. Kumkum Bhagya’s Shabbir Ahluwalia (who also won the Best Actor Drama award) did a dance on Yeh Laal Ishq with Sriti Jha aka Pragya. However, the biggest treat was the performance of Helly Shah and Varun Kapoor. Swaragini is going off air quite soon and this romantic dance number was one of the last occasions when we saw the couple together. Of course, their fabulous chemistry is talk of the town and they did not disappoint their fans one bit.

Varun and Helly were in the same segment with Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia. Fans have loved their performance a lot more and by an overwhelming margin. It is not surprising as they looked dreamy, danced like a dream and built a totally romantic atmosphere. Of course, Sriti and Shabbir were sizzling with those eye-locks and lifts, but it was SwaSan who simply stole the show. It looks like they were determined to present a rocking show and they succeeded and how. Seriously, people want to see them together ASAP in a new show. Or maybe Swaragini 2.

While we expected Helly to do well considering her recent stint with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, it was VK who emerged as the surprise packet. He was nifty and lip-synced the entire song much to the delight of viewers. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more updates….
